View volume SRDF information

A storage volume is an identifiable unit of data storage. Storage groups are sets of volumes.

This procedure explains how to view volume SRDF information.

Steps

  1. Select the storage system.
  2. Select Storage > Volumes and click one of the tabs.
  3. Select a volume and click An icon showing the letter i to open its Details view.
  4. Click the number next to RDF Info to open the RDF Info list view.
    The following properties display:
    • Remote SymmID—Remote storage system serial ID
    • RDev—Storage system volume name
    • RDev Config—Volume configuration
    • Capacity (GB)—Volume capacity
    • RDFG—SRDF group containing the volume
    • Pair State—State of the pair of which the volume is part .
    • RDF Feature—SRDF copy type
    • CSRMT—The following section lists the CSRMT RDFA flags:

    • R1 Inv—Number of invalid tracks on the R1 volume
    • R2 Inv—Number of invalid tracks on the R2 volume
    • RA Status—Status of the SRDF director
    • Link Status—Indicates the link state
    • RDF State—Volume SRDF state
    • Remote RDF State—Remote volume SRDF state
    • RDF Status—Volume SRDF status
    • Device Config RDFA WPACE Exempt—Indicates if the write pacing exemption capability is enabled or disabled.
    • Effective RDFA WPACE Exempt—Indicates if effective write pacing exemption capability is enabled or disabled.
